Flavor of the week
We're taking a trip down south this week…
All the way to the Florida keys.
I've always loved Key Lime Pie and I've been trying to perfect the Creami recipe for a while.
After a lot of trial and error (more on this later) I think I finally nailed it.
Check it out and let me know if you agree.

Rapid Reviews
This week we're looking at Unreal and Hormbles Chormbles.
You've probably seen Unreal at the store. Clean packaging. Fewer ingredients.
But here's the thing…
It's basically just regular candy.
Same calories. A little less sugar. Just "cleaner" ingredients.
If you're trying to stay low calorie and high protein?
Hormbles is the move.
You might not be able to say the name, but the numbers don't lie…
10 grams of protein, less calories when you compare the same size serving, and it tastes just as good.
In the Lab
Key Lime Pie kicked my ass.
After all the Creami pints I've made, this was easily one of the hardest to dial in.
Lime flavor is obviously a necessity for this recipe…
But getting the flavor without wrecking the texture took more trial and error than you'd think.
At first I thought the lime Jell-O mix would be great.
It's absolutely awful.
Don't waste a Creami pint on that.
So then I figured I'd go to the real thing and try actual lime juice.
Only one problem…
It curdles the milk.
And you can't just use a frother for this one.
You have to actually blend it and then toss it in the freezer immediately.
To get that tart lime flavor, I landed on the juice from 2 whole limes plus the zest from both.
The juice gives you the tartness, but the zest is key for that smell-and-taste combo.
After all that testing, it finally came together.
Bright, tart and smooth.
So if you want Key Lime Pie, not lime flavored yogurt, go give this a try.
