Fall recipes are already trending.
I saw someone post one on August 1st…
It's still summer in my mind.
But if everyone else is already doing it, I guess I'll join.
So this week we're leaning in and looking at Pumpkin Cheesecake.
Spiced from the pumpkin spice. Rich from the cream cheese.
Basically tastes like a pumpkin spice latte and a cheesecake had a baby.
Then you add the graham cracker crumble on top for the crunch…
Makes me want to curl up and watch a movie.
Probably my favorite fall recipe I've made so far.
Rapid Reviews

I tried Impeccable Chicken last week.
If you're not familiar, it's basically cooked chicken you can grab and eat on the go.
Packaged chicken is huge in Korea and Japan.
And with the protein craze here in the US, it makes sense someone brought the idea over.
I mean check out these macros: 140 calories and 27 grams of protein.
I got the teriyaki (they also have original pepper and orange habanero).
I took one bite.
It was so rubbery I couldn't even swallow it.
I could have just tried a bad piece, but the one I had was inedible.
The verdict:
0.6/10
Forget it.
In the Lab

My ice cream love goes back way further than the Creami.
My grandparents have had a house in Maine for 45 years.
I've been going every single year of my life.
Cousins fly in from Seattle. Family drives up from Massachusetts.
Twelve to twenty of us under one roof for a whole week.
We'll hit the beach. Play some pickleball.
But the real tradition is ice cream.
Growing up we would hit a different shop every single day.
We called it ice cream week.
This tradition has slowly faded as we've gotten older, but we're all going back next week and I'm going to try my hardest to revive it.
The rotation always involves Big Daddy's, Barnacle Billy's, Dunne's, Scoop Deck, and Shain's of Maine.
And here's something I never thought I'd get to say...
I'm working on a collab flavor with Shain's of Maine.
Nothing paid. Just a full circle passion project for a kid who grew up chasing scoops every summer.
