You might've seen it already, but I'm starting a new series recreating Jeni's Ice Cream flavors.
First up: Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks.
I haven't done a peanut butter Creami pint in a while, and it just sounded great.
It's safe to say this one delivered.

I tried a new brand of protein chips this week.
It's called Wilde and they make chips from chicken, egg whites, and bone broth.
160 calories. 10 grams of protein per serving.
I tried the buffalo flavor first.
Big mistake.
Not because it was bad.
But because I ate the entire bag in one day.
(on the bright side, it was 40 grams of protein)
Genuinely the best protein chip I've ever had.

In the Lab
If you own a Ninja Creami, you know about the spindle.
It's that little metal piece at the bottom of the Creami machine that connects to the pint.
Cleaning the Creami spindle has always been the worst part of the process.
The grooves are too small for a sponge…
And too tight for your fingers.
Up until now I've just been trying what I can and hoping for the best.
Then people in the comments dropped a tip I should've figured out years ago…
Try a toothbrush.
The bristles get into every groove.
I was shocked at how well it actually cleans it.
Maybe I'm just late to the game on this one, but it was huge for me.
I bought a 4-pack for $2 and I'm never going back.
I highly recommend you do the same.
