In The Lab
Last week Ninja Kitchen came to me with an interesting idea.
A 24 hour challenge…
Where every bite of food had to come from the Creami.
I said yes before they finished the sentence.
I could have gone straight ice cream for the whole day…
But that would've been boring.
12 year old me would have loved ice cream all day, but I needed some variety.
So I put the brain in gear and started doing some research.
And I came across something interesting…
A lot of hummus recipes call for ice.
This makes it light, fluffy, and, you guessed it, creamy.
I figured why not blend up some chickpeas and throw it in the freezer?
Turns out, the Ninja Creami can do a lot more than just ice cream.
The hummus was incredible.
Oh and I got some hate for leaving out tahini…
And yeah a traditional recipe calls for it…
But to me whipping things up in the kitchen is all about creativity.
Especially when you don't have that one ingredient that costs $20.
Sometimes you don't feel like going to the store and dropping cash on something you might not use again.
That's okay! Get creative. Use what you have.
The more you experiment in the kitchen, the more you'll start to pick up on which ingredients can be swapped.
Get in the kitchen and get weird with it.
Yeah, some things will suck.
But I guarantee you'll surprise yourself with some amazing (and weird) food.
Bonus points if it's macro friendly.
