Flavor of the week

Before Jimmy Fallon had Tonight Dough, he had this:
Ben & Jerry's Late Night Snack.
It was discontinued back in 2015.
Straight into the flavor graveyard.
I know Jimmy Fallon went from the Late Night Show to the Tonight Show…
But this flavor combo is elite.
Vanilla bean ice cream. Chocolate covered potato chips. Salted caramel.
Salty. Sweet. Rich. Everything you want in one bite.
Dipping potato chips in chocolate sounds involved, but it only took me 4 minutes.
Then you just spin the pint, mix in the chocolate covered chips on the Mix-In cycle, drizzle caramel and flaky salt on top, and you're done.
Genuinely can't believe this one got pulled from shelves. 10/10.
Rapid Reviews
This week we're looking at Last Crumb cookies.
You've probably seen them all over your feed.
Let's start with the good…
They taste incredible.
Honestly way better than Crumbl and some of the best cookies I've ever had.
Here's my ranking:
- Lava Cake
- Cake Batter
- Cinnamon Toast Crunch
- Lemon Bar
- Blueberry Muffin
- Banana Cream Pie
- Peanut Butter
- Cookies and Cream Milkshake
- Chocolate Chip
- Macadamia Nut
- S'mores
- Red Velvet
Now the bad…
They're insanely expensive.
6 cookies is $90.
12 is $120.
Great cookies. Great packaging.
But there's no way I can justify the price.
The verdict:
6.7/10
Find it or forget it. Up to you.

I got to do something different this week.
I partnered with a restaurant here in NYC called Matter.
They're the only store I know of that measures every ingredient down to the gram.
If you're tracking macros, it's basically the only place doing it right.
And they just launched an ice cream line with three flavors:
Vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream.
80 calories and 8 grams of protein per scoop (solid fiber too).
My favorite ice cream flavor of all time is peanut butter oreo.
So I took their cookies and cream and built a custom sundae around it.
3 scoops of cookies and cream.
Hollow out the center of the first scoop, drizzle in peanut butter.
2 more scoops. More peanut butter drizzled on top.
Finish with their homemade cookie crumb.
Full sundae macros: 370 calories, 27g protein, 8g fiber.
Gluten free. No seed oils. No refined sugar. No artificial sweeteners.
I didn't develop the recipe for the ice cream. It's not a Creami hack.
But if you're in NYC and want a legit healthy ice cream sundae without making it yourself?
This has my stamp of approval.
If you're in the city, go try it.
