Flavor of the week

Jeni's has been on a different level lately.

This week I recreated their Double Dough in the Creami.

The Creami base on this one isn't your standard vanilla…

It's got brown butter extract, brown sugar substitute, and some extra salt.

It might be my favorite I've made in this series.

Check it out and let me know if you agree.

What Jeni's flavor should I make next?

Rapid Reviews

There's been a lot of buzz about Protein Pints recently.

Watch the full video.

They have 9 different flavors and I got my hands on 7 of them.

From best to worst, here's where they fall for me:

  1. Cookie Dough
  2. Mint Chip
  3. Peanut Butter Chip
  4. Strawberry
  5. Cookies & Cream
  6. Chocolate
  7. Coffee

The texture on all of these is airy and a little foamy.

It doesn't feel exactly like real ice cream…

But the flavor more than makes up for it.

They're about $8 a pint, 300-500 calories each, and every single one has exactly 30 grams of protein.

The verdict:

7.8/10

In the Lab

I just got back from my first ever influencer cruise.

500+ creators on Virgin Voyages around the Caribbean.

Cruise trip video: making protein ice cream content on board

Watch the full video.

It was exactly what you'd imagine.

I knew it would be a great time and I'd meet some cool people…

But something I didn't expect was how much it fired me up.

Everyone around me was filming long-form content.

Not just TikToks.

YouTube videos with legit setups.

I was already thinking about doing more longform content and the cruise was the push I needed.

There is a lot I've been sitting on that I never get to say in a 60-second video.

Things like…

Why I pick certain ingredients over others.

The thought process behind picking ingredient substitutions for my recreations.

Why I use allulose instead of erythritol for certain bases.

The actual health benefits hiding in some of these recipes.

I just don't have the time to dive in depth with short form content the way I want to.

So be on the lookout for those longer videos.
